AGON, Family
The “Agon, Family” activation is a fun game for the families of 5-15 y.o. children that wish to visit the permanent exhibition of Athens Olympic Museum, and it is part of the «Agon, an Olympic Legacy» program supported through an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
By participating in this activation, all members of the family enjoy a playful museum experience, using the program’s Family kit, a game of observation, exploration, imagination, and creativity.
The materials included in the kit transform the visit to the Museum’s permanent exhibition, to an activity of engagement with the exhibition’s themes while playing.
This hands-on learning activation applies cognitive, kinesthetic and affective approaches.
Kids and adults are benefited by the activation, as the included activities:
- Motivate the participants to engage with the exhibition, achieving a better content understanding
- Practice long-term memory retention
- Encourage participating to physical activities
- Promote collaboration
- Cultivate imagination
The activation is admission-free and does not require prior booking.
